FAQ & Site Guidance
Welcome to 3 Wishes Fairy Festival!
Our aim is to create a relaxed, safe, and magical space where all Faerie Clans can come together in joy and harmony. We ask everyone to help nurture this spirit of kindness and respect. Anyone found upsetting others may be asked to leave to keep our community safe and happy.
Entry & Arrival

Gate times are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily (9pm on Sunday).

Arrivals outside these hours may be held in a temporary parking area until the next day. Please help us by arriving within these times.
Tickets & Included Activities

All workshops (except those marked with a *), music, and entertainment are included in your ticket price.

Food, drink, and purchases from the Faery Market are not included.
Pets
-
Dogs are no longer permitted on site. Please do NOT bring dogs as you will be turned away.

Service/Assistance dogs are welcome but must be arranged in advance. Contact our Event Accessibility Officer at info@fairyfestival.co.uk to apply and provide required documentation. You must have a valid Assistance Dog Pass to enter the event.
Alcohol

You may bring your own alcohol for personal use only. Selling alcohol is prohibited and will result in confiscation and possible removal from the festival.

An onsite bar offers a wide selection of drinks.

No glass bottles are allowed anywhere on site. Please use non-glass containers and decant drinks before arrival.

We operate a Challenge 25 policy and require valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, or PASS card) for anyone appearing under 25.
Glass & Bottles

For the safety of all and the environment, no glass bottles or containers are allowed on the festival or camping areas.

Please prepare your drinks in non-glass containers before arrival to avoid delays.
Keeping the Magic Safe: Smoking & Substances Policy
We want everyone—from the tiniest pixies to the wisest wizards—to have a joyful and safe experience.

No illegal substances are permitted on site. Any violations will be addressed promptly in line with UK law.

Smoking and vaping are only allowed in designated outdoor areas, far from children, performance spaces, and stalls, to keep the air fresh for everyone.

Anyone who does not follow these rules may be asked to leave.

Food & Drink

You are welcome to bring your own food.

We are proud to host a variety of vegan and plant-based food traders offering delicious options.

As a plant-based festival, we kindly ask that you do not bring animal food products to respect fellow campers and the environment.

We encourage you to explore and enjoy the tasty plant-based treats available on site!
Festival Times & Camping

Festival officially opens at 10:00 AM on Friday.
-
Camping and glamping areas open the Thursday before the festival if booked in advance.
-
You must vacate the site by 12 noon on Monday.
Recycling & Rubbish
-
We ask you to take your recycling home with you to protect our fairy realm.

Please leave your camping area and festival site clean and safe for wildlife—practice Leave No Trace.

Use recycling bins and dispose of rubbish properly; cigarette butts should go in designated sand buckets and be fully extinguished.
Vehicles & Camping

Camper vans and small caravans are welcome with a booked camping pitch. Please book your pitch [LINK COMING SOON].

Camping or glamping is not included in the 3-day or weekend ticket prices and must be purchased separately [HERE].

BBQs

Non-meat BBQs are allowed if they:

Do not damage the ground (must be raised)

Are fully extinguished and never left unattended.

We encourage trying our variety of delicious plant-based meals onsite.
On-Site Security & Facilities

Professional security staff (Troll Patrol) will be present at all times, checking wristbands at checkpoints.

The festival site is mostly wheelchair-friendly, with facilities for disabled and elderly guests. Please check our Accessibility page for details.

No crèche facilities are available; parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times.
Dress Code

Dressing up is optional but highly encouraged! Whether pixie ears or full fae regalia, it’s all part of the fun.
Practical Info

Free onsite car parking is available at the festival entrance.

You must bring your own tents and camping gear unless you have booked with a luxury glamping provider.

Luxury hot showers and flush toilets (award-nominated!) are available and regularly cleaned.
Family & Noise

The festival is family-friendly; under 6s are free but still require a ticket for safety counting.

Music ends by midnight each night (11 PM on Sunday). No all-night loud music.
Travel

The nearest train station is Castle Cary.
-
Taxi or car share is recommended from the station; it’s not easily walkable.
Tickets & Proof

Concession ticket holders must show proof of eligibility on arrival.

For children under 6, proof of age (birth certificate or child benefit form) is required.
Photography & Recording 🌸
By attending 3 Wishes Fairy Festival and related events, you consent to photography, video, and audio recordings being made and used by the festival team for promotional and celebratory purposes, including on social media and websites.
If you prefer not to be recorded or photographed, please do not enter the event areas.

While we strive to present all advertised performances and schedules, 3 Wishes Fairy Festival reserves the right to make changes without prior notice or liability.
